OP - I'm sorry that you had so many negatives on your cruise. I'd be disappointed to say the least.

 

Let me ask this to all of you. With all the recent complaints I've been reading lately, do you think this is a problem unique to the Pearl problem or is this a general NCL problem?

There have been several positive reviews for the Pearl also, so I think it just depends on individual circumstances. Our butler was lacking big time which really put a damper on our cruise b/c we had spent the extra, we also had the casino problems, but if your not a gambler than this is something that wouldnt affect you, it was my first NCL so I cannot compare to other NCL ships.

I would have wrote up a report on the butler and why I disliked his services. Perhaps he should ask next time-huh? I think I would prefer not having a butler since they are overly "helpful".
