mariemorgan Posted February 13, 2009 #3 Share Posted February 13, 2009 The price.. It allows me to take more cruises than I could on other lines. I have been on Princess, RC, and Carnival and each have their plus's and minus's.. but you cannot beat the price on carnival.
crazycath Posted February 13, 2009 #4 Share Posted February 13, 2009 The price and the casual attitude. Cathy
ddunn Posted February 13, 2009 #5 Share Posted February 13, 2009 the friendly staff.....and just good down to earth people having a good time. I feel very comfortable on a carnival cruise, and do indeed love the price.... I love to be pampered..........and love the smiling faces.
Azure Moon Posted February 13, 2009 #6 Share Posted February 13, 2009 •Price.........Some of the best prices available. •The crew...They are the friendliest. •The food...In the main dining room, supper clubs, desserts (especially the Spa Carnival diet cakes :)), fish and chips, pizza, iced tea, and lemonade. •Bedding, sheets, pillows, duvets...The softest and comfiest . •Lido deck movies at night...Reminds me of the old drive-in's but this is sssoooo much better :D. •The theater performances...We've liked all but two shows that I can think of. One was too repetitive in lyric and the other was simply too loud in volume.
tiggerman101 Posted February 13, 2009 #7 Share Posted February 13, 2009 The price is a big factor for me. My partner just loves the "all inclusiveness" of it. He likes being able to do things on the ship, eat, etc and not worry about how much he is spending (he rarely drinks and I quit drinking awhile ago). Plus it us the opportunity to visit a lot of places. Our Southern Carribean cruise on the Victory next month is a prime example. Most of the islands are small enough that we can see a lot of them in the day we are there. I also like the more laid back vibe that Carnival promotes. It fits in with the way we like to be when we are on vacation. At this point in my life I just don't know if I would even feel comfortable on some of the more "prestige" lines. breezycruiser Posted February 13, 2009 #8 Share Posted February 13, 2009 I've only been on 1 so far but am going on my 2nd soon. I have friends that have been on other cruise lines and they didnt have a good time. Carnival has such a welcoming and fun enviornment. The staff was very friendly and always made sure that we were taken care of. It made me not want to sail any other cruise line Except Disney ( I have to try it at least once!). babybumblebees Posted February 13, 2009 #16 Share Posted February 13, 2009 My family and I are drooling thinking about the warm melting chocolate cake - and the cruise is in June! shipty2 Posted February 13, 2009 #17 Share Posted February 13, 2009 Carnival gives the most bang for my buck that is what I love most. A close second though is the bedding. I am not a good sleeper but those beds along with the gentle motion of the ship have me sleeping soundly.

MrPete Posted February 13, 2009 #22 Share Posted February 13, 2009 Every Carnival experience to me always seems to end with the same thing. The passengers seems to gel into this unique community that somehow becomes this one large extended group of sailors. It's different each cruise, and hard to explain, but I've only experienced it on Carnival. Whatever it is that Carnival does to do it, it works. DMKahlan Posted February 13, 2009 #23 Share Posted February 13, 2009 Its been said before but how can you argue with the price Carnival offers for such a fun vacation? Throw in some great shows, good food and freindly staff. Things to love about Carnival. There is one thing I don't like - the Casino. They keep taking my money :D Can't wait until my next cruise!!! glrounds Posted February 13, 2009 #24 Share Posted February 13, 2009 Single occupancy rate only increased by about 50% instead of DOUBLED. Keeps me from "straying" to other lines.
