gagirl789 Posted November 20, 2004 #1 Share Posted November 20, 2004 We booked a BA but were given a B on the Zuiderdam. I cannot tell a difference in the rooms from the diagrams. The BA that we are in is forward. tI think I read somewhere online that the B's are suppose to have slightly bigger balconies. Does anybody have any imput? Thanks! jfishe Posted November 21, 2004 #2 Share Posted November 21, 2004 We were on the Zuiderdam in June of 2003 and then again in August of 2004. In 2003, our room was a "B", in 2004, we had a "BC". There was no difference in the rooms at all... I think the B, BC, BA has to do with the actual location of the cabin on the ship. Our "B" was mid ship, while the BA was more forward. HeatherInFlorida Posted November 21, 2004 #3 Share Posted November 21, 2004 Yes, I agree. I think the difference between those categories is basically location as opposed to the size of the cabin. Depending on where they have put you, sometimes the balconies can be slightly larger.
Ziggy7 Posted November 21, 2004 #4 Share Posted November 21, 2004 Our balcony was bigger on the upper verandah deck #4135 than our balcony on the Rotterdam Deck #5102, we were told that cabins are same size, which they were but that the balconys on the upper verandah deck were 3 ft larger than the other decks of the same cat. :)
