Roll Calls

New to cruise message boards. Is there more to roll calls than just trying to meet fellow cruisers? Can there be more than one roll call for a given cruise? Just curious.

Generally, a cruise has one rollcall. We meet fellow cruisers. We trade information we have received about the cruise and ports. We often help fellow cruisers to find things they need. By meeting fellow cruisers before boarding, you have a new set of friends before you set foot on your ship. It can improve the whole experience.
