4/9/10 - Hong Kong to Athens

We are interested in this cruise, but are concerned about cruising in the Gulf of Aden. I know that Deilman took its passengers off the Deutschland and flew them to the next port. I do know that the Nautica out ran the pirates. So should we be concerned??

Greetings from Amsterdam The Netherlands. We just booked this trip last week.Great itinerary and we are not too worried about the Gulf of Aden. If the cruise line decides it is not safe to sail there they won't . We are gong for it.

We were on the Nautica in December when "we outran the pirates." We've also been on her in 2006 on the HKG-ATH cruise. Go and enjoy. Capt Braijic and his crew are amazing and you will be fine. We were safe and sound and did not worry. It is an amazing itinerary.
