Century 4 & 5 day question

Does Century give out the canvas bags in the stateroom on the four and five day cruises? Just want to know so I do not bother bringing one from home if they do. Thanks for any answers from recent Century cruisers.

Celebrity does not have canvas bags - they are that fake cloth similar to disposable hospital gowns, etc. They do have one of those in each cabin.

We bring our own canvas or other bag - I have heard that those fake cloth ones bleed - they are navy blue - and I don't want to take a chance - plus my canvas one is larger and our other Celebrity bag (Christmas gift from Celebrity on our Century maiden voyage back in 1995) is waterproof.

We just got off the ship Saturday. CC rooms are given a nice large bag with handles. This was deposited in our room the second day. Also had the lightweight bag mentioned in the closet which I agree is suspect.

Is the large bag for CC suitable for shore excursions? Any other CC advice for an upcomer CC cabin resident?

Yes, the nice larger bags are perfect for shore excursions. Actually, the other, cheap ones are too--if it was something that would get dirty or sandy. I have two of the nice ones and have never used either one!
