TP Formal Nights

Question on Tahitian Princess formal night dress for the guys. Were there more Classic Black Tuxedos or White Dinner Jackets worn for this tropical cruise? Thanks - SeaFish

I saw a bit of both, but mostly black classic wear. Then again, my husband wore a black suit and was in the majority of formal dinner wear. You'd be fine either way.

Have a great time .... we sure did and are on our way back next May.

We were on the TP in August and my husband rented a black tux(easier then packing one). We both noticed, that there were more black tuxes then white ones. Also, it seemed more people were dressed formal on the first formal night, then the second night.

Last month we witnessed more suits at late seating then we did tuxedos.........remember, this is a hot climate and is more of a relaxing experience.

We were on the TP in March and we found that more than 50% of the men at the late sitting wore Black dinner suits (Tuxedos). The ladies were dressed up to the nines as well.

This must vary depending on which cruise you take as it was not all that formal in October.
