I'll leap to the conclusion that you're talking about Vancouver, and then point out that from any downtown hotel, the taxi fare is $10 (or less). And a hotel+$10 is often cheaper than a different Hotel(w/shuttle)

As you are on the Coral Princess in August I would guess that you are talking about Vancouver. That being the case the only hotels that I know that offer shuttles include: Hampton Inn, Best Western-Downtown on Drake, the 2 Westins and with some packages the Coast Plaza on Denman. However a taxi ride from even a west end hotel to Ballantyne Pier should be less than $15 and Canada Place about $10....so don't get mesmerized by a free shuttle.
