Has anyone taken a taxi to the night safari from the ship? We aren't getting into port until 4pm and would like to strike out on our own rather than use the ship's tour but aren't sure how easy it would be to catch a cab and how much a taxi might cost us. Any help will be appreciated. Judy

It is my understanding that the cruise terminal is just 20 or so minutes from Singapore city itself but you would have you look at a map to figure out if it is closer or further from the Zoo. Also keep in mind the the fare quoted by the hotel is in Singapore dollars, so at todays rate $20 Singapore is $13 USD. Pretty reasonable I think. Hope this helps
