iflyrc5 Posted February 20, 2009 #1 Share Posted February 20, 2009 We are doing a tour in St. Maarten that has a 2 hour stop at Orient Beach - is there anything to see snorkeling at this beach or is it just for swimming? I know this is a clothing optional beach so maybe that is all there is to see :o:o
bruce-r Posted February 21, 2009 #2 Share Posted February 21, 2009 Orient Beach is a beautiful sandy beach. I wouldn't expect snorkeling there to be worthwhile.
Dive Master Posted February 21, 2009 #3 Share Posted February 21, 2009 Orient Beach is famous for "Boobie Fish"! Most guys are fascinated by them.I saw a few nice members of this species last week at Ginnie Springs but unfortunately they were hiding behind bikini tops. highflyingrealtor Posted February 26, 2009 #4 Share Posted February 26, 2009 yeah, wrong side of the island maybe? water was not calm enough when we were there for that although it was a hoot to play in the waves. :)
