p465 Posted February 20, 2009 #1 Share Posted February 20, 2009 What should I use to find the best deal? Also, which would be the most reliable to use. I would be willing to spend a few extra dollars to make sure someone is available if a situation arises. I'm looking at doing a Princess cruise to Alaska in 2010. We have used on-line TA's for 13 cruises and have never had a problem getting help if needed.
swiss Posted February 20, 2009 #4 Share Posted February 20, 2009 A good TA is worth the weight in gold. I am a TA and I am always looking out for my clients be checking current prices, up until the time they sail and doing research for them on excursions, hotels, etc. Be careful of some online agents, because some will charge a fee if anything is changed, including price decreases. jkw2765 Posted February 20, 2009 #5 Share Posted February 20, 2009 My past 3 cruises I have used the cruise line directly. They will also decrease your price if there is one to be had, if you inquire about it.
