Does anyone know if Oceania refunds OBC if not used up?

By definition, on board credits are not refunded. If you don't use it up, you have given it up. If you have on board credit left, buy perfume or whatever from the on board shops!

We received a refund last trip. However they only refund if the money came from outside Oceania.

For example, if your travel agent or a friend puts $100 on your account, that is refundable. However if you receive a credit due to the 5th cruise, etc then it is not refundable.

I asked the question because on my last two cruises with Azsmara they refunded the balance of my obc.

We were just on Insignia. We had an OBC from TA and also received a fuel surcharge refund. We didn't use it up and got a refund in cash.

Hinda, what kind of OBC are you referring to? Obviously it makes a difference if its cruise line OBC or an external one (TA, bonjour gift, etc.).
