Buying Diapers in Bermuda

:oHas anyone ever purchased diapers in Bermuda? How are the prices? We're trying to avoid having to fill suitcases with diapers & not having room for other things.

I have never purchased diapers in Bermuda but I would guess the prices are high. Bermuda is an isolated island and everything is imported from a long distance.

everything comes in by ship. the ships mostly leave from NY(its a shuttle run there and back every week) so besides the normal cost of things, the added cost of international freight has to be added AND its an expensive island. Buy a case and bring it along. You are flying from Albany or Driving? just throw a case into the car and slap a sticker with your room number on it and they will deliver it. The limit(which isn't enforced) on the cruise ship is 4 50lb packages per person....

Just read a letter to the editor of a Bermuda newspaper that was noting the high cost of things. They said a roll of heavy duty Reynolds Wrap is $17.:eek:

Take your own diapers and try to cut down on something else.

Wow! Thanks for the info. I guess that we'll pack diapers. If my Grandson decided to get potty trained between now & May it would be great.
