US Direct

We used it for our Alaskan cruise in 2005. We flew from CA to Vancouver and then home again and used it in both directions. It was really great.....we bypassed all the customs lines at the airport when we arrived in Vancouver, we were whisked away to a waiting area and when the bus pulled up we got on, they taped the door closed and we were off to the pier. We pulled around the back of Ballentyne terminal and were on the ship by 11:30 am. Going home was just as easy. We were taken from the ship directly to the US side of the Vancouver airport and just went in and waited for our flight. You cannot go back to the Canadian side of the airport though.

Did you purchase the US Direct when booking your cruise? We need it only for our return.

You have to wait until you are on the ship to sign up for it for your return flight. The only thing you can do precruise is sign up for the transfers, which you will need to do to participate in US Direct.

I was going to edit this but CC froze up:rolleyes:

You can even wait to get the transfers onboard if you want - you are not required to get them precruise.
