Wyndham at Cable Beach is a great option. 40 pp includes a nice buffet lunch inside the hotel, the pool has recently been refurbed and is awesome, waterslide, swim up bar the whole nine. You can also use the Sheraton property too but you have to buy the passes at Wyndham.. We were just there 2 days ago and had an incredible time.

Cabbage Beach on Paradise Island is a free public beach located adjacent to Atlantis.

Problem with Cabbage is that there are absolutely no facilities, so no bathrooms, etc. Water is also much rougher than Cable. I also think the whole beach at Cable is much nicer than Cabbage. The sand hill to climb up/down to get onto CAbbage is a killer!

the beach at the British Colonial Hilton is very nice. The cost is 20$ and they give you a towel. They also let you use the pool.

Do they let you use a lounge chair for $20 or just a towel and use of the beach area and pool?

For $20, the BCH allows you full access to the pools, beach, hammocks, loungers, towels, outdoor showers, and water toys. They have beach and pools service from the restaurant and bar inside.

We are going in April w/o kids and in July w/kids. We just want to chill at a beach for a few hours and not pay $20-$40 a head to do so. What free beach do you recommend? We are familiar (somewhat) with the island and know about the jitney service. Any advise would be greatly appreicated.:)

Do you have to make a reservation at the Wyndham, or can you just take a taxi there and buy a pass when you arrive? Our ship is only in port from 1pm until 6pm. Do you think it's worth it to head over there for just a couple hours? Thanks for your help!
