Fort Lauderdale Grande Hotel & Yacht Club?

Any recent experiences here? Are there restaurants, shopping, etc. nearby? I know it is right near the crusie port.

There are at least a dozen sit-down restaurants within a few blocks. On your block you have China Grill, Bimini Boatyard, Jackson's Bar & Grill and Bravo Italiano.

 

I'm not sure what kind of shopping you are looking for. There are 2 grocery stores and 2 drug stores a few blocks away. Ross Dress for Less is going to open soon a few blocks away. For better shopping, go to Las Olas Blvd downtown 2.5 miles away or Galleria Mall 4 miles away. Both shopping areas also have nice dining choices.
