Lounge Chairs on Century Promenade Deck

I've noticed Century does not have deck chairs on the Promenade Deck so one can't have a relaxing read with the ocean breezing by like other ships/cruiselines. Do you think they would move some down there is asked or is this something they do not allow? It's a shame as it forces one seek interior areas of refuge away from the noise and crowds.

I think I read on another posting that with the lifeboats on that deck, they had to take chairs off of that deck for safety.

Yup, the other posters are correct. Someone did post about there being no chairs and asking a staff member. They were told they had to remove them for safety reasons in case of an evacuation of the boat.

It is too bad because it is a lovely, wide deck with teak floors. I was wondering myself about the chairs when I was on the Century last week....
