Sunmist Posted March 5, 2009 #1 Share Posted March 5, 2009 I'm wondering if anyone knows how much it would be to take a cab from La Guardia airport to the Brooklyn Pier. I have already booked transfers through Princess but its around $68 pp roundtrip and with 6 people that adds up to a lot of money and I'm thinking a taxi would be cheaper. Any advice would be great! Thanks!

Thanks! a cab should run about $30(per taxi) including tip. Its 20-25 minutes just make sure you have the duirections which are BQE to Atlantic avenue make the left at the light and then the first right(follow this around to Bowne Street and make a right into the cruise terminal....(these directions differ from the cruise terminals. this is faster) You will need two cabs.....each will take 3 plus luggage easily... going back since cabs are sometimes hard to find have Arecibo(7187836465) picvk you up. They will want you to call as you are getting off. About the same amount back as a taxi would charge- again you will need two cars.
wineforhealth Posted March 5, 2009 #3 Share Posted March 5, 2009 I think you will be on the Crown Princess. I did that trip in 2007 I took a limo and it was about $250. I think you could schedule a supper shuttle for less and you wont need to wait in lines and on the bus. Hope this helps CHEERS
LENORA516 Posted March 5, 2009 #4 Share Posted March 5, 2009 While cabs are plentiful at Laguardia they are scarce at the Brooklyn Terminal so make sure you arrange for a car service to pick you up and bring you back to Laguardia at the end of the cruise!
