EZ Cruise parking in Galveston

Is EZ Cruise parking within walking distance from the terminal in Galveston?

 

We were on Elation last month. Disembarkation and getting a cab was an absolute nightmare. We will be parking at EZ Cruise this time and I want to just walk to the car and drive back to pick up luggage or carry luggage to the lot. Is this possible or practical?

Some people have posted that it is about two blocks. Several mentioned that they walked it to pick up thier car.

we used EZcruise last month. In my opinion, it is only within walking distance if you do not have luggage. It's not the easiet of walks because of the traffic in front of the port, and it's a long 2 blocks!

When we made reservation for EZ parking last month for our 1-9-05 cruise on the Elation we were told that you can park and they have a shuttle to get to the terminal.

I work in Galveston, and I would advise not walking if you don't have to.

Harborside Drive that runs past the terminal is very heavy traffic both Port and business,and is not designed with sidewalks down to the parking areas.
