Car rental Sarasota to Port Everglades

I know this has been talked about, but after hours of searching, I was hoping someone could throw me a bone. I'd like to rent a car one way from Sarasota to Port Everglades. The most recommended on this site is Thrifty, but they want $85, even with the Magic Card discount code. That's too much. Last time I tried this to Miami, it was less than $25. Anyone have any idea how to get decent rates? Thanks

I should mention - Cruise leaves on Apr 11, so I plan to pick up in SRQ on Apr 10 and drop off in Ft Lauderdale the next morning.

SRQ - FLL - National Rentals - Midsize - $58.00

I did notice National was the cheapest, but at $58 each way, it's still cheaper to pay for parking. I'm just shocked because last year when I did this for Miami, most of the agencies were around 20-30 each way.
