Smoking areas on Carnival ships?

Since we are sailing with a mixed group of smokers and non-smokers, can anyone tell me the policy on Carnival?

I assume dining rooms are NO. Staterooms and private balconies YES

But what about bars? Are there designated areas such as port or starboard side or seats at the bar or what? And other public rooms, what about those? (ie: theaters, lounges, discos, etc...) And outside on the deck - is it smoking on one side and non on the other?

Not wanting to start a smokers vs non-smokers debate. Just want to try to satisfy everyone in my group if possible as far as smoking is concerned.

Thanks!

Areas for yes are usually: One side of the deck, lounges, casino, your cabin, balcony, and most the well traveled public areas. Areas that are usually no are: all dining areas, gym, hot tubs, spa, elevators, and the main show lounge. I have heard that some ships now have no smoking in the main atrium but I can't confirm that. If I have left anything out I am sure someone can add to the list.

On the Victory and Destiny, the 2 largest showrooms are non smoking as well as the main atrium bar. The main bar used to be a smoking area, but has been changed. For the consideration of Non Smokers (and I'm a smoker) I'd recommend not smoking in the cabins and keep it to the balcony. Depending on the ship, the ventilation system sometimes carries the smoke into the next room and always out into the hallway.
