Max Passengers in Miami taxis

What is the maximum no. of passengers allowed in a Miami taxi cab? We are a group of 4.

Same as a NY cab, four. Gonna be tight. MIA has a lot of minivan taxis at the airport that would easily accomodate 4 with a weeks worth of luggage.

If you have luggage with carryons, you won't fit more than two per cab. If you take two large bags per person and one big carry on each, no way will all that fit into one taxi. A van taxi would be the way to go, but a regular size cab won't fit four plus all the luggage.
