Bringing alcohol onboard Carnival Legend (Tampa)

I will be sailing on Carnival for my first time in May. There is a group of 6 of us and we were wondering how strict they were on Legend, which sails out of Tampa, in regards to bringing alcohol. We have sailed on RCL and never had an issue. Any thoughts???

As long as it is in your checked luggage, there should be no problem.

We cruised March 1-8 on the Legend and had 2 bottles rum, liter of vodka and 12 cans of beer in our checked luggage. No problem at all. We carried on dt pepsi, dt dew and bottled water.

Tampa has never given me a problem. Just put whatever you bring in your checked luggage.
