short port time

We have a short stop in Aruba on our cruise, 7 am to 1 pm. We have always wanted to see Aruba so can anyone make suggestions as to what we should see? Also can you walk into town from the pier? What is close by?

 

I am new to the board and apologize if this has been asked before.

The ships dock at the cruise terminal in downtown Oranjestad. There you will find tons of stores, restaurants and two casinos.

Thank you, the map is great! We will be looking into a short tour of the island. I'm glad I found CC as I have been reading all about each port we go to. I just wish our stop in Aruba was longer!
