rhsjr Posted March 15, 2009 #1 Share Posted March 15, 2009 We will be using AA miles to round trip BWI to Madrid, and American is a partner with Iberia, but I have read so many bad reviews about Iberia and Alitalia we would much rather fly to Venice on another airline. Any expericens and/or suggestions?

Globaliser Posted March 15, 2009 #3 Share Posted March 15, 2009 TRY Easyjet ryanair vueling All three are low price airlines that fly within Europe. They all have websites That's not very much help, considering that of these, only Vueling flies from Madrid to Venice, and Ryanair doesn't fly to Venice at all. http://www.skyscanner.net might be a better site to try for looking at low-fare airlines. Although if you have cruise luggage, you might find that the additional costs of checking baggage soon makes a low-fare airline a high-cost experience. It's such a short flight that it might be much less hassle to book the entire ticket via AA, using Madrid as an en-route stopover. Iberia may not be good, but it is not that bad.
