scoutandbunji Posted March 16, 2009 #1 Share Posted March 16, 2009 I've been reading alot of the reviews and can't decided. Can you book tours when you dock? There will be 2 other boats in at the same time, will it make the chances of getting a good tour or a good price harder? Do Coral Breeze tours book at port? CruiserWKB Posted March 16, 2009 #2 Share Posted March 16, 2009 Hammerhead watersports had a both in front of the Wet Lizard. They go thru Coralbreeze. I dont know what they offerd for tours, but if there are several ships in port, I would book ahead. There is not alot to do where the tender drops you off, some shops etc.
cantwait2cruize Posted March 16, 2009 #3 Share Posted March 16, 2009 We booked a private Island Tour at this port. Do your reseach for this Island. I really didn't feel that safe there, and I feel safe in Jamica so that should tell you something.
scoutandbunji Posted March 16, 2009 Author #4 Share Posted March 16, 2009 Do you think I could get a better price at port then booking ahead. I'm looking at the drive your own boat tour.
cantwait2cruize Posted March 16, 2009 #5 Share Posted March 16, 2009 Excursions are always much cheaper when you book them yourself (we always book ourselves). Make sure you leave plenty of time to get back to the ship. Check out the Belize port of call to get more advice. Also renting a boat on your own is opening up a new can of worms. They could easily say you damaged the boat.......they will make you pay, or they will call the police. (cops get a cut of the profit).
welldone60 Posted March 16, 2009 #6 Share Posted March 16, 2009 I don't think you can book the Captain your own boat tour at the dock. But it is a great time. Check it out at CoralBreeze. com. There are guides with you so you don't have to worry about damage to boats.
