Valor Western Caribbean

I have a question for recent Valor cruisers. We are on the 3/29/09 sailing. A friend of my father said they just got off the Valor last Sunday and went to Costa Maya instead of Roatan. Anyone know if this was a regular scheduled stop or due to some issue in Roatan. We like both ports either way, but just wondering if anyone heard anything.

It just depends on the week. The itinerary changes from week to week. I believe the Valor does three different routes. Two different western and one eastern route.

GoldenCruiser is right, the ship alternates between Grand Cayman-Cozumel-Belize-Roatan, Grand Cayman-Costa Maya-Belize-Cozumel, then the Eastern Caribbean cruise.

The Carnival Valor is now only doing Western Caribbean cruises. The last Eastern was 2/22/09. There are only 5 scheduled cruises in 2009 that call on Costa Maya instead of Roatan - 3/8; 3/22; 10/18; 11/1; and 11/15. I don't know why but I asked John Heald that same question on his blog today.
