ZipLine excursion thru Royal Caribbean

DH and I did this tour a few weeks ago. It was a blast.

You will take a 15-20 minute bus ride to the ziplines. From there you will put on your equipment, and get a short safety lecture. The guides are very fun, but it is apparent that safety comes first. You can bring a camera, and they will give you a clip to secure it to your gear. There are 7 ziplines. The first is very short, the 2nd a little longer, the 3rd short again, then there are a few long ones. The longest is just under 300 feet. There are not a lot of large drops, and we were a little disappointed that it was not more of a thrill (DH has been skydiving, and I have been bungee jumping, so we are the thrill seeker type). Still, it was a lot of fun. The guides made it fun.

After you finish, you can enjoy bottled water and pop. Our group met at 8:30 and we were back on board the ship and eating lunch by 12:00. If I had to do it again, I would pick a more mountainous island like St. Lucia. I think the zips are higher and longer on that island. Barbados is pretty flat. However, it was a good time.
