Msc musica venice

Hi we are new to cruising and going on Musica on April 5th 2009 (flying to Venice). We arrive in the airport at 11 am and are being transported from the airport via our travel company to Venice - the ship departs 6pm. Could anyone tell me if we will have any time to visit venice and if so what happens to our luggage (do we take it with us or is it taken on the coach to the port?)

I think you posted this to the wrong forum. But from your arrival time at 11am, I would have your transport company take you directly to the port and check in on the ship. Usually you can board around 11:30 or so. You probably won't be able to go up to your room at that time. You can then have a bite to eat and then go off to check out Venice. You need to be back on the ship 1/2 hr. before sail time. I would not cut it close! Give yourselves plenty of time.
