SUZCRUZ Posted March 19, 2009 #1 Share Posted March 19, 2009 Are these aft verandas any larger than the ones on the side of the ship? Many afts are alot bigger. Just wondering if this is the case before we book it. Thanks;)

Just wondering if this is the case before we book it. Thanks;) The ones on the Vista deck are just shy of 100 sq ft. The ones on the deck below are much smaller, about the same size as the port ans starboard verandas. A note, though, the Vista verandas are less thatn 50% covered. With all that said, they are great! We had one on a 12 day Norwegian cruise.
robtulipe Posted March 20, 2009 #3 Share Posted March 20, 2009 I paced off our Vista deck FV balcony when on our Dec. TA and thought it to be around 140 sq.ft. Here a shot of it and you can see it is a lot bigger than the standard 42 sq.ft. balcony on the side of this ship. Our friends had one of those and it was at the most one third the size of our FV. I say 100, you say 140! Bottom line, nice size:) We loved it.

The bed of the lounges in my picture above were at least 2 feet wide and five of them would fit across the width of our balcony and it's depth was amost 50% greater than the width so IMO the 140 sq.ft is fairly accurate.
