cruiserintampa Posted March 21, 2009 #1 Share Posted March 21, 2009 My husband and I just returned from the Monarch and while there is a nice Boleros lounge, the Latin Band was eliminated. Does any one know whether this is being done across the fleet or just on cruises that are 3 or 4 days?

cruiserintampa Posted March 22, 2009 Author #8 Share Posted March 22, 2009 Thank you for calling the RCI to verify this information. However, I wonder if they are being truthful. My son just returned from the same cruise one week ago, and the same thing happened there. No Latin Band and for that matter, no latin music.
ncb106 Posted March 22, 2009 #9 Share Posted March 22, 2009 Hi Nick We don't as such have a Latin trio on board but have a trio that have in their portfolio some Latin tunes. The Latin trio would be back on next moth. TEXASMUNK Posted March 22, 2009 #11 Share Posted March 22, 2009 Between being a skeptic and being paranoid. Some that were skeptics are now totally paranoid when it come to anything they hear from RCI. Just curious...when you say Latin music are you including Caribbean (calypso) in that group? No, motive, jus askin!
amybeth4 Posted March 22, 2009 #12 Share Posted March 22, 2009 Last month on the Majesty's 3- and 4-night cruises, Boleros had a latin band every night, so no worries. Actually I'm not really sure why I'm answering this since it seems to have been answered by the guy from RCI above, but what the heck. :)
