katt1 Posted March 23, 2009 #1 Share Posted March 23, 2009 Does anyone know what happens if you don't use your transfers to the pier? Do they just go unused, and are you still able to use the transfer back to the airport after the cruise? We're willing to eat the cost if we can cab it to the pier quicker. Thanks! wrp96 Posted March 23, 2009 #2 Share Posted March 23, 2009 They just go unused and you can still use your other transfers. But if you aren't going to use them, call and see if you can get them refunded, especially in San Juan where taxis are cheaper and usually faster than the transfers. cruiseguy1016 Posted March 23, 2009 #3 Share Posted March 23, 2009 I would think that you could get a refund for the unused transfers. Call RCI today and ask to have your credit card refunded for the cost of both transfers. Cabs are the cheaper and faster way to go in San Juan. pltag Posted March 23, 2009 #4 Share Posted March 23, 2009 When is your cruise? Have you already made final payment? If not, you can probably change your booking to NOT include transfers. I guessing once you pay for them it's probably a "use or lose it" proposition. I can't see them offering a refund. Also I'm not sure if transfers are offered as a "one way only" option. We stopped using RCI transportation years ago! Too many better options! :D
