Green Grotto Caves/ Walkerswoods spice factory

Would be interested in info on the caves. Web site said about a 45 minute tour.

 

How far are the caves from the pier?

 

Hard to walk them? (uneven paths, etc.)

 

We are thinking of adding the Walkerwoods spice factory and maybe a primary school to the tour also.

 

Web site for the spice factory doesn't list times or price.

 

Any one gone to the spice factory?

The caves are easy to walk...the floor of the cave has been paved. there are a couple of places where you have to stoop down to crawl through a hole...but it is only a couple of steps. Take REALLY strong mosquito repellent...preferably something with a lot of DEET in it. When I left the grotto I was covered in mosquito bites...I don't mean a few bites, I mean, hundreds of bites and I was itchy and red for the rest of the cruise.
