Formal nights

We know officially there aren't any formal nights on NCL, but we are doing a 13 day trans-atlantic on the NCL Gem and when the opportunity arises...if there is a "formal evening" I would like to know how many. My husband and I would enjoy dressing up for those evenings. For a 13 day cruise.. is it 3 or four "formal nights"..

I would think there would be at least two, however be advised that most people will NOT dress up even on those nights and others like you that enjoy it will dress up most nights, makes no difference. You can dress to the nines every night if you so choose. I always dress up and hubby about five out of 7 nights generally.

Parrot Pop has forgone tuxedos, but has two nice jackets.. and of course after cruising all these years.. and each year adding somethig new (sorry, I'm a shopaholic and bargain shopper) I will bring something to show him off..Just heard there will be two ... which probably means for him .... two different ties
