brenderlou Posted March 25, 2009 #1 Share Posted March 25, 2009 I have a deposit for the Independence of the Seas for a Jan 9th sailing. I was just playing around on other cruise sites and we can get a veranda for less then our inside cabin I have booked on the Eurodam (Holland Amer). Our daughter loves the kids camp on Royal Carribean and Celebrity and I'm wondering about Holland Amer's program? Does anyone have experience with both cruise lines w/ children and the programs they offer? Also, is the age demographic the same as Celebrity or older? Thanks
topspot Posted March 25, 2009 #2 Share Posted March 25, 2009 We chose to cruise on the Eurodam for a second time, for this very reason. Club Hal did keep many of the kids on our cruise happy. Our kids are teens, so I can't speak from experience, but if you find a post by crusinmama in this family board, in her signature, there is a link to her blog which has a daily program from Club Hal. You can get an idea of the types of activities they have. This can help you decide if you think your child will be happy. You know them best:)! You may find that the some of the posters on the HAL board make it sound as though kids are not welcome. This is not the case, just not all of the bells and whistles of other lines like rock climbing wall and ice skating. Have fun whatever you decide:D
