Cabin on Aloha Deck below Horizon Court

My wife and I currently have booked cabin A628 which I see is directly below

the Horizon Court Buffet on the Golden Princess. I have seen others comment that they have been in rooms below the Promanade deck and they can hear deck chairs, etc. being dragged on the deck. We are

light sleepers and given the fact that the Horizon Court is open 24 hours

we are concerned that we will have difficulty sleeping. A check with our

TA determines that we can move to the far aft rooms on the Caribe, cabins C742 or C743. Does anyone have any suggestions on the

best decision here. Also, should we choose Port or Starboard. I should

mention that this is the Alaskan 7 day round trip from Seattle, Inland

passage. This is my first post here so I really appreciate any help

offered! Thank you.

I've not been in a cabin below the Horizon Court, but if I were you, I'd switch to the Caribe deck solely based on balcony size: the balconies on Caribe are very popular since they're approximately twice as large as the ones on other decks, plus they're half covered and half open. In Alaska, that would be great so you could take advantage of any warm sunshine (surely they have some?) as well as having cover in case of rain. Just my two cents.
