Tampa Legend luggage question

We are thinking about visiting the aquarium before boarding. The aquarium opens at 9:30am. How early can we drop off our luggage with the ship and/or porter? And what would be an appropriate tip (per bag) for early bag drop off?

I have dropped luggage off as early as 1030. I usually tip $2 per bag...

We usually try to arrive around 10 - 10:30AM and drop with the porters. We tip $2 per bag.

Just a quick note, if Porter's aren't there to take your luggage before you arrive you can always store it at the Aquarium.
