Formal Nights

Even though we were very well dressed on Casual Night, our server went out of his way to encourage us to come to Formal Night dressed any way we chose. It is clear that RCI is capitalizing on its active, more casually-oriented, "get out there" perspective, leaving more traditional cruise sensibilities for its premium brand, Celebrity. By the same token, the range isn't all that broad. While we didn't actually see anyone in a tux on Formal Night on our last cruise, we didn't see anyone in shorts or bluejeans either.

You'll be fine. On our last cruise I was one of the few wearing a tux during late seating. At least in the area of the dining room we were in. Everyone else was wearing a suit, sports coat or just a shirt and tie. Formal night was more like was smart casual night used to be.
