Juneau: ziplining AND Mendenhall?

If we wanted to see Mendenhall on our own (take the shuttle) AND do a ziplining tour, what would be the best time of day to do the tour, and what might be the best time for the glacier. I know weather could change the answer to this, but generally speaking.....any thoughts?
