kpse4 Posted November 30, 2004 #1 Share Posted November 30, 2004 Can anyone tell me approximately what time they start to let passengers board the ship? I am sailing on the Miracle out of Tampa.
serene56 Posted November 30, 2004 #2 Share Posted November 30, 2004 You can get to the pier about 10:30 -11am. Security will open about 11 and you can be onboard by noon. (just remember it depends on when the cruise from the week before you gets those people off so you can get on- another thing is your cabin may not be ready until 1pm- lots of people drop off their carry-ons but the cabin is not secured until 1pm
kpse4 Posted November 30, 2004 Author #3 Share Posted November 30, 2004 Thank you very much for the info. I'm not too concerned about the room, just want to be in line and on board early enough to show my kids around without too much hassle. :D
sqmajesty Posted November 30, 2004 #4 Share Posted November 30, 2004 We got to the pier around 11:00 and were allowed on the boat by 11:30am. In New Orleans, where the Sensation sails from, the terminal staff were obnoxiously rude. But, once onboard, we were treated like king and queen. Hope you have a great cruise. GoinCruisin Posted November 30, 2004 #5 Share Posted November 30, 2004 We were lucky in NOLA, very nice staff in the terminal... but FTLOG what a wait! We waited in line FOREVER! I think we were there a little before noon... in Tampa, we arrived around 10:30, and we were on the ship, drinks in hand by noon'ish... It was wonderful! stlrboo Posted November 30, 2004 #6 Share Posted November 30, 2004 We fly into Tampa at 1103 AM, and plan on getting a taxi directly to the Miracle! :) We should be there right about the perfect time.. :D
