CruisinDavid Posted March 31, 2009 #1 Share Posted March 31, 2009 Thinking of booking two inside staterooms (one for wife and I, the other for two sons - ages 17 and 20) for a Splendor cruise in June. Has anyone stayed in one these (or other spa rooms) before?? Can you hear noise from spa above? Any thoughts on these rooms - vs. "regular" inside staterooms - would be appreciated! Thanks in advance! David
CruisinDavid Posted March 31, 2009 Author #2 Share Posted March 31, 2009 I am tempted to book these, unless anyone knows of reason NOT to book them... Any comments one way or the other?? Thanks in advance, David
shawilson Posted April 1, 2009 #3 Share Posted April 1, 2009 Just as long as there are no smokers in your group.
leedm Posted April 1, 2009 #4 Share Posted April 1, 2009 I stayed in a Spa Balcony Cabin Nov 2008. Great choice it was close to SPA, stairs, and elevator. You will enjoy the ship Leedm
Winterstale Posted April 1, 2009 #5 Share Posted April 1, 2009 Thinking of booking one of these for me and my husband for October or November to Mexico - is the decor different from regular inside staterooms? Or is it just the spa suites that are different? Seems like it's worth the extra $$ for the luxury of the spa and the lack of smokers :D
leedm Posted April 3, 2009 #6 Share Posted April 3, 2009 We booked ths Slendor in Nov 2008 for the ship not the ports. We knew it was going to the West Coast so we wanted to experience the new SPA. We were in the SPA each day. Spa cabin's are different and you get a special SPA slippers, and bath/spa oils. Also there is a special VIP SPA area for couples only.....Try it with you special cabin mate...wonderful treat. The Splendor was our 10th with Carnival and was by far the best Leedm
