PRIDDO Posted April 2, 2009 #1 Share Posted April 2, 2009 I believe there is a factory outlet in Honolulu somewhere near Pearl Harbour. Does anyone know if it is possible to get a bus to anywhere near there?
Louise45 Posted April 2, 2009 #2 Share Posted April 2, 2009 Not sure if this is what you are looking for. http://www.virtualtourist.com/travel/North_America/United_States_of_America/Hawaii_State_of/Oahu/Honolulu-772327/Shopping-Honolulu-Waikele_Outlet_Mall-BR-1.html I found this when I googled and there is an address and phone# near the bottom. You could go to mapquest and get directions.
shemo Posted April 3, 2009 #3 Share Posted April 3, 2009 Your talking about the Outlet Stores at Waikele. You can ride a city bus, taking about 1 hour from Waikiki. thebus.org will give info. I believe they still have a tourist shuttle that used to cost around $20 pp. It is about 15 miles+- from Waikiki. One side of the street has the outlet stores and the other has a KMart and Lowe's plus a few other regular stores. Also a few places to eat, Chili's etc. To tell you the truth it is not my favorite place. You can probably pull up the website and check the stores located there. I go about once a year when I am out that way and usually find nothing to buy. Maybe my problem is that I live here and the fashions are too "mainland-ish" for my casual lifestyle. For me the Aloha Stadium Swap Meet, Nordstrom's Rack (in town), Ross's, Chinatown and things on sale at Ala Moana Shopping Center is plenty.
