PathfinderEss Posted May 4, 2012 #26 Share Posted May 4, 2012 Please note that this is a 3 year old thread. Thanks KK, sometimes I forget to look up. We did a ash scattering about 9 years ago up in Alaska on the Amsterdam, it was a very nice expierence. I can highly recommend it to anyone thinking about be sprinkled at sea. Krazy Kruizers Posted May 4, 2012 #27 Share Posted May 4, 2012 Note that the signature on the post you quoted is a link to a site that sells urns, and it is the poster's first. I think it is basically an ad. I noticed that -- amd when I posted about how old the thread was -- that person's "green" light was still and I was hoping he was aware that we all knew he was advertising with bringing up an old thread. He/she may or may not have read what I posted.
Krazy Kruizers Posted May 4, 2012 #28 Share Posted May 4, 2012 We are doing this next week on Oosterdam with my Mother's ashes. Others on here have been very helpful to me. That's right. And it is not illegal, it just needs to be done in the open ocean a certain number of miles from shore. Sorry for your loss.
