Does anyone know details about the free walking tours in Vancouver

I saw an informational thing online about free walking tours in Vancouver and was wondering if anyone had done them. My understanding is the city offers them during the summer. I haven't been able to find information on the times and locations, but was wondering if they would be worth looking into.

With time, "free" is worthwhile. :) You might also want to consider heading to your library and taking out Vancouver travel books, some will have walking tours detailed.

I believe there is one; a gentleman does it as a public service. Try posting the question on the Canada or West Coast Departures board and as I recall there is a poster there named "Urbantreker" who seemed to know something about it last season.
