How early can you board

Agree with above however want to share one instance where US IMMIGRATION had to check every single employee on the ship before customers could board which caused a long delay in boarding (started around 2pm). Apparantly this happens every 6 weeks or so on a schedule not privy to the general public. Odds are you will be able to get on board noonish.
