doublebzz Posted April 27, 2009 #26 Share Posted April 27, 2009 With out some idea of your budget that is a tall order. However we have been reading of some terrific deals this year on Priceline...like 4* for just over $100 pn. If you want to try then look at Downtown-West and 4*. I recommned that you stay out of the Entertainment District. I just booked 4* Downtown-West on Priceline and got Hyatt for $65 a night May 23-26th. I don't think you can beat that. Putterdude Posted April 27, 2009 #27 Share Posted April 27, 2009 Wow, that is a huge deal, good on you. :) Last year the best price that read of at the Hyatt Regency was $135 and I thought that was good. But the market seems much softer this year.
Urban trekker Posted April 27, 2009 #28 Share Posted April 27, 2009 Yes it is soft - the Sandman Inn chain has weekend specials running through to the end of June and in most cases only one night booking is required - you can get the one on Georgia for $99.00 - Davie Street location is more as they are suites. I know this because I this booked a bunch of rooms for a friend and a group of English language students in Kelowna for the 2nd weekend in June - $129.00 for 4 people to a room. Cruising back to reality saw the HAL Amsterdam at Canada Place yesterday. Cheers Dennis
