Haven't sailed out of the carribbean for awhile and wondering if they still give out paper streamers to throw when the ship is departing?I remember doing this before in either Ft.Lauderdale or San Juan. This time leaving out of Barbados.:)

No, not that I have ever seen on any cruise line at sail-a-way. And I would not suggest bringing them with you. They blow over the side and liter up the waterway.

Try bubbles, they are more eco friendly. ;)

The only time I have seen streamers was on island night several times some years ago. They actually had to hang nets over the top of the outside deck to catch the streamers before going over the edge.
