stipmom Posted April 6, 2009 #1 Share Posted April 6, 2009 I'm looking for 2010 Istanbul to AthensWhen I price out Oceania with the free air vs Azamara without the price is similiar for an inside cabin.
moyaroo Posted April 6, 2009 #2 Share Posted April 6, 2009 Check the cost of the "free air" by seeing how much credit you get when you turn it down and you may decide free isn't so good!
brian_uk Posted April 7, 2009 #3 Share Posted April 7, 2009 Are you talking about Free Air from Europe to Europe or from USA. In Europe we have many discount airlines coverring most of the Cruise Cities although we prefer using British Airways because of the greater comfort. BillC Posted April 8, 2009 #4 Share Posted April 8, 2009 Some clients of mine asked me to check out the free air offer from Oceania. By refusing the "free" air they would receive a credit of $300 each, but if they accepted the offer, then Oceania would have charged them $278 in taxes and fees. Big deal! stipmom Posted April 9, 2009 Author #5 Share Posted April 9, 2009 Actually, I was talking about free air from the U.S. I am interested in taking a Black Sea cruise in June 2010. I got pricing from Oceania with the "free" air and without it. Without it there was a credit of $850 pp. making Oceania $150 more pp.-not a deal breaker. However, the dates of Azamara has us starting the cruise on a Sunday and ending on the Friday of July 4 so it winds up being more convienent
