Miami Airport.. Park and Sail

Has anyone used the Miami Airport's Park n Sail option. I think it is 13.50 or 10.50 a day? I was wondering are the shuttles from and to the airport? Are they timely? Would you reccommend or dissuade? Thanks

I have not used the parking option, but you'd need to be gone for a long time to make it pay. Parking at POM is $20/day - so you are saving $6.50 or $9.50/day, but you'd need to either take a cab ($24 each way) or a shuttle ($12-15 each way) to get from the airport to your car and back. Have you looked into an airport area hotel that will let you park for free after staying one night? Search these boards or check out Parksleepfly.com for otions. Good luck!:)

I am on a 7 night cruise (8 days according to POM) and the airport website says that it has a shuttle to the pier every 30 mins but I can not find if there is one back to the airport from the pier and was wondering if anyone ever used this option. It would be $85 vs $160 at the pier.

 

I am still considering La Quinta East though:)
