DW and I have brought in four glasses of wine into the dining room on formal night The M'd or wait staff never said a word...They want tips so extremely high odds they won't say anything. However I'll guess odds will increase if the staff finds you difficult, eg constantly sending food back...

Why bother with plastic containers? Couple of bottles well wraped in the checked baggage. Put them out on the counter and the staff will keep the ice bucket full. It's always 5 o'clock on a cruise ship.:D

Weight can be an issue with glass bottles.

I am sooooo out of the loop here, where do you buy those rum runners??

I guess it doesn't effect the strength of the alcohol to pour it from one container to another?

All depends on how long it takes you. Any evaporation will dilute the strength.

The cabin steward just cleaned around them:p

Ahh another business traveler.

I dearly love Mr Mrs T's Bloody Mary mix and always order it when flying. I get upgraded alot so when I ask for the mix, the attendants always bring the mix and 2 bottle of Finlandia. I would always tell them I just wanted the mix and they push the bottle forward saying "Savem for later". So my collection grows..

I used to leave my liquor out all the time in my cabin, the cabin steward would refill the ice and place the bottle back on ice for me it was awesome....that was some years ago.

Okay so the picture isn't too great, but our stash is on the left ;)

That was back in '06. Had no problems getting it on, or bringing the wine to the dining room. They never charged us to open the bottles. The following year we did the same, and the only time they charged us was when we went to the supper club.
